{ Mimoles }
{ About }
Mimoles are one of the ARPG's fictional currency. Unlike Crowns, Mimoles are player-bound, which means they're earned and kept by players, not their Mime Dogs!
Mimoles can be used in the ARPG Shop to purchase in-game items, such as MYO Tickets and Add-Ons.
Mimoles can be earned every time a player draws any Mime Dog ( owned by them, by another player, or by the ARPG )! However, to claim Mimoles, a player must submit their art piece to the Mimole Exchanger, since Mimoles are not granted automatically.
How many Mimoles a piece earns depends on the characteristics the art piece possesses ( e.g. colored, shaded, background, etc. )!

{ Bust Shot vs Full Body }
The base count for any visual Mime Dog piece lies on whether the piece is a bust shot or a full body shot!
Bust Shot - 1 Mimole
Despite their name, bust shots require any one (1) area of the Mime Dog showing. If the area isn't the head, the face must be additionally visible ( e.g. a Mime Dog stuck in a bush could show the tail and face to count for bust shot, but cannot show only the tail ).
Full Body Shot - 3 Mimoles
Full body shots, on the other hand, require at least three (3) areas of the Mime Dog showing! Similarly to the bust shot bonus, if the head area isn't present, the face must be visible in some way.
{ Color }
The colored bonus applies to any piece that contains color distinction! This includes the original palette, limited palettes, and greyscale palettes, all explained below.
The color bonus always adds 3 Mimoles!
The color bonus always adds 3 Mimoles!
Original Palette
• Original palette refers to the official colors a Mime Dog has on their uploaded Import ( in the Master Book )
• At minimum, the colors must be read by the eye as the same hues and values as the original ( e.g. on a blue-tinted setting/lighting, a MD's colors will become bluer, but should still be recognizable as their own ).
Limited Palette
• Limited palette refers to palettes that are limited to only one or a few colors due to lighting or artistic choice.
• At minimum, the colors must be read as the same values and saturations as the original ( e.g. if a red and yellow palette is chosen but the MD's original colors are blue, the hue won't match in any way, but the intensity and contrast between colors should still match ).
Greyscale Palette
• Greyscale palette refers to palettes that are limited to blacks, whites, and greys, due to lighting or artistic choice.
• At minimum, the colors must be read as the same values as the original ( e.g. a greyscale palette won't allow for hue or saturation to show in most cases, so the brightness or darkness of the colors will carry all the weight in making the MD recognizable ).
